1. About us
Solforbs Store is an online electronics store serving customers in Kenya. We sell online only and deliver every order to the customer. We do not take walk-in sales or in-store pickups.
2. Using the website
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.
- If you create an account, keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account and should tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- Do not misuse the website: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it, place fake orders or upload harmful content. We may suspend accounts that do.
3. Products and prices
- All prices are in Kenya Shillings (KES). The price you pay is the price shown in your cart when you place the order.
- We try hard to describe products and show prices accurately. Product photos are for illustration and colours may look a little different on your screen.
- If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price because of an error, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
- Stock is limited and offers or sale prices may end at any time.
4. Orders
Your order is placed when you complete payment at checkout. We then email you a confirmation with your order number. We may cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is out of stock, a price was shown in error, we cannot deliver to your address, or we suspect fraud.
5. Payment
- You pay for the products online at checkout with M-Pesa, processed securely by Paystack. We do not see or store your M-Pesa PIN or card details.
- The amount charged at checkout covers the products only. The delivery fee is paid on delivery and is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Your order is confirmed only after the payment succeeds.
6. Delivery
- We deliver within Kenya. Fees by area are shown on our Delivery information page and at checkout.
- Please give a correct address and phone number and make sure someone is available to receive the order. If a delivery fails because of wrong details or no one is available, we may charge for another attempt.
- Delivery times are estimates. We will keep you updated if there is a delay.
- The items become your responsibility once they are delivered to you or the person you name.
7. Returns, refunds and warranty
Returns, exchanges, refunds and warranty claims are covered by our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Shopping assistant
Our website may include an automated shopping assistant that suggests products and answers questions. Its answers are generated automatically and can be wrong, so please check the product page, price and specifications before you buy. The product page and your order confirmation are what count.
9. Content and trademarks
The website's design, text, logo and graphics belong to Solforbs Store or its licensors. Brand names, logos and product images belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products we sell. You may not copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without permission.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 and other Kenyan law.
11. Your privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add new services or the law changes. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If there is a dispute, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it quickly. If we cannot, the courts of Kenya will have jurisdiction.
