Ubiquiti LiteBeam M5 LBE-M5-23 Features in Kenya

23dBi High-Gain Directional Antenna

The integrated 23 dBi antenna concentrates wireless signals in a directional pattern to provide strong signal performance across long-distance links. This makes the LiteBeam M5 suitable for connecting remote buildings, customer premises and network sites where focused 5 GHz coverage is required.

Long-Range Point-to-Point Connectivity

The LBE-M5-23 is designed for long-distance Point-to-Point wireless bridging, with links of up to approximately 30 km possible under suitable line-of-sight, installation and environmental conditions.

5GHz Wireless Performance

Operating across the 5 GHz wireless spectrum, the LiteBeam M5 provides a practical platform for outdoor broadband connections with throughput of up to 100 Mbps. The directional antenna design also helps improve interference rejection by focusing transmission toward the intended remote endpoint.

Compact Integrated CPE Design

The radio and high-gain directional antenna are combined into a lightweight outdoor CPE, eliminating the need for a separate external antenna and simplifying deployment for residential, commercial and WISP installations.

Passive PoE Power

Passive PoE allows network data and electrical power to reach the outdoor CPE through the Ethernet cable, reducing cabling requirements and eliminating the need for a separate electrical outlet at the mounting location. A 24V 0.2A PoE adapter is included.

Energy-Efficient Operation

With maximum power consumption of only 4W, the LBE-M5-23 provides energy-efficient continuous operation for outdoor wireless links and customer premises installations.

Flexible Ball-Joint Mounting

The quick-attach ball-joint mounting system simplifies antenna positioning and alignment. Installers can accurately direct the antenna toward the remote wireless endpoint to achieve optimum link performance.

Rugged Outdoor Construction

The LiteBeam M5 is designed for outdoor deployment across demanding environmental conditions. It supports operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C, humidity levels from 5% to 95% non-condensing and wind speeds of up to 200 km/h when correctly installed.
