MikroTik CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ Cloud Core Router Features in Kenya

Direct CPU Ethernet Architecture

Unlike traditional routers that rely on a switch chip, all seven Gigabit Ethernet ports connect directly to the 9-core processor, eliminating internal bottlenecks and maximizing routing performance across every interface.

9-Core Enterprise Processor

The Tilera TLR4-00980 processor operating at 1.2 GHz delivers exceptional multi-core performance for enterprise routing, firewall processing, VPN services, bandwidth management and advanced traffic control.

Combo Gigabit Ethernet and SFP Port

The integrated combo interface allows administrators to select either the Gigabit Ethernet or SFP connection while providing automatic hardware failover should the active interface become unavailable.

10 Gigabit SFP+ Connectivity

A dedicated 10G SFP+ port enables high-speed fibre uplinks for enterprise backbone connections, aggregation switches, storage systems and data centre networking.

100 Mbps and Gigabit SFP Support

The combo SFP cage supports both traditional Gigabit SFP modules and 100 Mbps fibre modules including 100BASE-LX, 100BASE-SX and 100BASE-BX for maximum deployment flexibility.

Silent Passive Cooling

Heat-pipe technology and a large passive heatsink eliminate the need for cooling fans, allowing the router to operate silently while maintaining excellent thermal performance.

RouterOS Level 6 Platform

RouterOS Level 6 provides MikroTik’s complete enterprise networking feature set including advanced routing protocols, VPN services, firewall security, hotspot functionality, bandwidth management, QoS and MPLS support.

Enterprise Management Features

The integrated LCD touchscreen, smart card slot, RS232 serial console and microUSB management interface simplify monitoring, maintenance and secure administration.

Redundant Power Options

Support for dual AC power inputs and Passive PoE input improves deployment flexibility and enhances network availability in enterprise environments.
